Spinach and Artichoke Grilled Cheese Bake with Reese Artichoke Hearts
If you are looking for a fun easy recipe for your family or a get together with friends and loveartichokes – you will love my spinach and artichoke grilled cheese bake with Reese artichoke hearts!I've made a lot of grilled cheese bakes and I love them because the bread gets crispy and crunchyand as you see the cheese falls to the bottom and you get a cheesy crust too. Artichokes can bevery time consuming to prep but by using Reese artichoke hearts you will get that great flavorwithout the work.
Materials
4ozfresh spinach
1tbspolive oil
1minced garlic clove
1can Reese ArtichokesI used medium size
8ozsoftened cream cheese
6ozcheddar
6ozmozzarella
Salt & pepper
2tbspbutter melted
1loaf of good quality bread. I used an olive
14ozlong loaf olive oil ciabatta
Instructions
Sauté spinach with olive oil and garlic until its wilted down. Preheat oven to 350°F. Add Reese’s
artichokes and your spinach to your cream cheese. Season with salt and pepper and I used a little
garlic powder.
Brush butter on bottom of your casserole dish. Cut your bread into 1" pieces. And cover bottom of
dish. Add your cheddar cheese, spinach artichoke mix, bread, brush on melted butter and then
mozzarella cheese. Bake for 20-25 min or until golden brown.
