South Carolina has a special place in my heart. We used to travel there for our family vacations every year when I was young. I love the memories I made back then and I love to go back and make new ones. This year I had the pleasure of partnering with Discover South Carolina and traveled to Columbia, Greenville and Kiawah.
The first stop on our culinary journey was Greenville. We ate at so many delicious spots but my favorites were:Sidewall Pizza—LTO Burger Bar—-–Molly & Myles Ice Cream—-Jianna To work it all off I highly recommend Swamp Rabbit Trail with Reedy Rides
Our next stop on our trip was Columbia. I actually fell in love fast with this place and definitely need to return. The energy of the city was pulsing as I walked through the farmers market and the chili fest that happened to be going on while we were there. We also stayed at Hotel Trundle which is a true gem. It was chic and trendy! Our favorite spots to eat: Southern Belly BBQ—–Lula Drake Wine Parlour—-The cinnamon Roll Deli
Our last stop on in South Carolina was Kiawah Island. There is incredible charm here and while we only stayed two nights but we checked out two unique properties. The Sanctuary has an old school charm, with a number of great restaurants on property. The view from the room was beautiful and I felt extremely relaxed there. Andell Inn on the other hand, was more new world comfort. It was modern luxury. I felt like i was staying in a beautiful grand cabin. This property is located in Freshfields Village which is a great place for food and shopping.

I was sad to leave South Carolina after this trip and definitely could have used a few extra days… or weeks:) I look forward to visiting again soon! Let me know if you’ve been or have any questions about my time via comments or DM on my Instagram page
